THE absolute best romance between two old people in all of cinema, brought to you by Quentin Tarantino in his unfairly-under-celebrated (this is a very relative statement, I know) Jackie Brown (1997), featuring Pam Grier as the titular Jackie and Robert Forster as love-struck bail bondsman Max Cherry, AND the wonderful sound of the Delfonics (see the second clip for the original mono mix of "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time) as part of another (of course) excellent Tarantino soundtrack:

Stillman Sunday Afternoon
I'm spending the afternoon with Metropolitan (1990) again.
I swear that I like it for reasons beyond hearing Carolyn Farina's Audrey say my name.

Oh why the hell not embed this "Between Two Ferns" here too?
I mean it's not like it's not all over twitter and facebook and a bunch of lazy tumblrs already. But it did make me belly-laugh so hard the cat flew from my lap and left me with three bleeding welts from his back claws.

Girls - "Lust for Life"
I don't know what it is lately, but I can rarely keep my mouse fingers still long enough to watch a music video. And this one? It's got to be at least about a year old, but seeing as how I can't stop listening to this album (which I also slept on for many months), why not post it now? It's not great or anything, but just about as good as it needs to be.
